Fr. Robinson&#039;s Message 4/16/23

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The Easter season continues. These are fifty days in which we will continue to meditate and deepen the mission of all of us as a church and as disciples. I encourage you to keep in your heart the enthusiasm and the fruits of such a beautiful Holy Week that we were able to celebrate together.

Once again, I thank all those who helped us to have holy days of reflection and prayer, especially all our parishioners who are part of the different ministries, as I also expressed a week ago in the bulletin. Today I want to make special mention of the Ministry of Arts & Environment. These brothers and sisters put all their creativity, love and devotion into decorating our church for the different celebrations of Holy Week. There was a lot of work because of the distinctions in each of those days. Thank you for your generosity to the parish and for helping us all to meditate and deepen the mysteries celebrated.

Congratulations to the twelve children, youth, and adults who were baptized at the Easter Vigil last Saturday, April 8. Also, congratulations to the eight adults who were confirmed. May God bless you and show you his love through our community. I ask all parishioners to continue praying for them, welcoming them and integrating them into our parish.

This Tuesday, April 18, the spiritual retreat will take place for students who are preparing to receive their first communion on May 6. I ask God to bless you and continue to strengthen your faith, so that the enthusiasm you feel at the expectation of receiving the Body and Blood of Christ will keep you faithful to God and help you continue to love with a generous heart.

Finally, I thank all the parishioners who responded to the parish survey during the month of March. 32% of you sent your answers and with this you have provided us with important information for the future of our community. In the month of June, we will be receiving all the complete information from the paper and online surveys, as well as suggestions so that we can strengthen our parish.

Queridos Hermanos y Hermanas,

Continúa la temporada de la Pascua. Son cincuenta días en los que seguiremos meditando y profundizando en la misión de todos nosotros como iglesia y como discípulos. Los animo para que mantengan en su corazón el entusiasmo y los frutos de una Semana Santa tan hermosa que juntos pudimos celebrar.

Agradezco nuevamente a todos aquellos que ayudaron para que tuviéramos unos días santos en reflexión y oración, especialmente a todos nuestros parroquianos que hacen parte de los distintos ministerios, como lo expresé también hace una semana en el boletín. Hoy quiero hacer mención especial del Ministerio de Artes & Ambiente. Estos hermanos y hermanas nuestros pusieron toda su creatividad, amor y devoción en decorar nuestra iglesia para las distintas celebraciones de la Semana Santa. Fueron varios cambios en la decoración para celebrar cada uno de esos días. Gracias por su generosidad con la parroquia y por ayudarnos a todos a meditar y profundizar en los misterios celebrados.

Felicitaciones a los doce niños, jóvenes y adultos que fueron bautizados en la vigilia Pascual del pasado sábado 8 de abril. También, felicitaciones a los ocho adultos que fueron confirmados. Que Dios los bendiga y les manifieste su amor por medio de nuestra comunidad. A todos los parroquianos les pido que sigamos orando por ellos, dándoles la bienvenida e integrándolos en nuestra parroquia.

Este martes 18 de abril tendrá lugar el retiro espiritual para los estudiantes que se están preparando para recibir su primera comunión el 6 de mayo. Le pido a Dios que los bendiga y les siga fortaleciendo en su fe, para que el entusiasmo que sienten ante la expectativa de recibir el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo los mantenga fieles a Dios y los ayude a seguir amando con un corazón generoso.

Finalmente, agradezco a todos los parroquianos que respondieron la encuesta parroquial durante el mes de marzo. El 32% de ustedes enviaron sus respuestas y con ello nos han proporcionado importante información para el futuro de nuestra comunidad. En el mes de junio estaremos recibiendo toda la información completa de las encuestas en papel y virtuales, además de sugerencias para que podamos fortalecer nuestra parroquia.
