Parish History

St. Augustine Parish was created July 1, 2022. It was formed by the members of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr Parish in Posen, IL and St. Christopher Parish in Midlothian, IL. Initially, the new parish was called St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr and St. Christopher Parish, but in November of 2022, Cardinal Blase Cupich approved that the new name would be St. Augustine Parish. Fr. Robinson Ortiz was assigned as the first pastor.
