July 31, 2022Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Last weekend various emotions marked our ceremonies. On the one hand, the community of St. Stanislaus celebrated the Mass at the end of the regularly scheduled Sunday Eucharistic celebrations. On the other hand, the two communities of St. Stanislaus and St. Christopher came together to commemorate their unification.
I witnessed the great love that all the parishioners have for their respective churches. There have been many years of construction of buildings and communities. Last weekend we thanked God for the sacrifice and effort of so many parishioners who collaborated in previous years. The end of the two parishes has given birth to a new one, consolidating a united parish community full of great hope.
I witnessed tears, applause and smiles. I saw that the community is willing to work together so that we can strengthen the presence of Christ in our lives and in the local community. Thank you for saying yes to this mission that God is entrusting to us.
I particularly thank the members of the unification team for organizing our commemoration. Thanks to Marion Martino, Mary Catuara, Liliana Herrera, Eunice Enk, Patty Rivera, Tina Castaneda, Cervando Rodriguez and Ray Woodworth. I also thank Leslie Flores, project coordinator from the Archdiocese for her support. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but your leadership in the community makes a big difference for its positive fruits.

Our religious education program for the new academic year already has 260 students registered. We project a greater number of registrations in the following weeks. Registration is currently closed and will reopen in mid-August. This Tuesday August 2nd we will meet with the catechists and volunteers in Unit D. Please consider joining this team. We truly need your help so that our children and young people have an excellent religious and human formation.

Queridos Hermanos y Hermanas,
El pasado fin de semana diversas emociones marcaron nuestras ceremonias. Por un lado, la comunidad de San Estanislao celebró la Misa en el final de las celebraciones eucarísticas dominicales. Por otro, las dos comunidades de San Estanislao y San Christopher se unieron para conmemorar su unificación.
Fui testigo del gran amor que todos los parroquianos tienen a sus respectivos templos. Han sido muchos años de construcción de los edificios y de las comunidades. El fin de semana pasado dimos gracias a Dios por el sacrificio y esfuerzo de tantos parroquianos que colaboraron en años anteriores. El final de las dos parroquias ha dado nacimiento a una nueva consolidando una comunidad parroquial unida y llena de gran esperanza.
Fui testigo de las lágrimas, aplausos y sonrisas. Pude ver que la comunidad está dispuesta a trabajar juntos para que podamos fortalecer la presencia de Cristo en nuestras vidas y en la comunidad local. Gracias por decir sí a esta misión que Dios nos está encomendando.
Agradezco de manera particular a los miembros del comité de unificación por organizar nuestra conmemoración. Gracias a Marion Martino, Mary Catuara, Liliana Herrera, Eunice Enk, Patty Rivera, Tina Castaneda, Cervando Rodriguez and Ray Woodworth. Agradezco también a Leslie Flores, coordinadora de proyectos en la Arquidiócesis por su apoyo. Nos queda bastante trabajo frente a nosotros, pero su liderazgo en la comunidad hace una gran diferencia por sus frutos positivos.

Nuestro programa de educación religiosa para el nuevo año académico ya tiene 260 estudiantes registrados. Proyectamos un mayor número de registrados en las siguientes semanas. En este momento las registraciones están cerradas y reabrirán a mitad de agosto. Este martes 2 de agosto nos reuniremos con los catequistas y voluntarios en el edificio llamado Unit D. Por favor considere unirse a este equipo. Verdaderamente necesitamos su ayuda para que nuestros niños y jóvenes tengan una excelente formación religiosa y humana.
